Combo guard the latest commit to 2017-18 women's basketball

BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins women's basketball team announced today another member of their 2017-18 roster, with the commitment of guard Tamya Rowe.

"Tamya is a do it all combo guard that is very strong and finishes well under pressure," head coach Willie Delas said. "She is very disciplined on the defensive end and is very low maintenance. She doesn't need to score to affect the game, but seems to always come up with timely, clutch baskets."

"I heard the Police Foundation program here was great and I've played for Coach Willie before and I love the way he coaches," Rowe added.

The Brampton native is a graduate of David Suzuki Secondary School and has also played for the Brampton Breakdown club program.

She has accepted an offer to the Police Foundations program at the Davis Campus in Brampton.
